Communication box
For communicating with the DST Series, a special communication box from Star-Oddi is required. The recorder is in the box and twisted until the green light turns on. Communication can be established using the SeaStar software and is wireless (RF). Even if the battery is empty the data can always be uploaded because the recorder is powered through the computer. The communication box can be connected to a computer using either the supplied 9 pin serial or USB cable.
