The DST milli is a miniature data logger available with two sensors, temperature and depth (pressure). Data are stored into a non-volatile memory. All measurements are time related, utilising a real time clock inside the DST.

Temperature and Depth recorder with extended memory

The DST centi is a miniature data logger available with two sensors, temperature and pressure (depth). Data is stored into a non-volatile memory. All measurements are time related, utilising a real time clock inside the DST. The advantage that DST centi has over the DST milli, is that it has longer battery life, and memory size can be extended to 130,582 measurements (DST centi-ex).

Conductivity (Salinity), Temperature and Depth recorders

The DST CTD is a miniature data logger available with three sensors, conductivity (salinity), temperature and pressure (depth). Depth measurements can be skipped (DST CT), increasing the memory size to 65,374 measurements pr. sensor. Data is stored into a non-volatile memory. All measurements are time related, utilizing a real time clock inside the DST.

Starmon mini is a temperature recorder designed for use in oceans, rivers, and lakes. Starmon mini records the temperature and stores the data into an internal memory under the control of a microprocessor. The recorder is supplied with an application Windows software and a PC communication cable, which are the necessary accessories to operate and communicate with the recorder. When Starmon mini is connected to a PC computer, the software can be used to set up the sampling interval and start time of the recordings. After the recorder has been recovered from the deployment site, the data can be retrieved by connecting the Starmon mini to a PC computer and use the software to upload data from the recorder.
The data can be processed and presented in graphs and in tabular form. All measurements are time related. Data can be exported into other data processing software packages. Starmon mini has an all plastic housing that is robust and does not corrode in the sea. For more extreme pressure the Starmon mini is available in non-corrosive titanium housing.

Star-Oddi offers protective housings for the DST, for use under more harsh environmental conditions it can for example be fastened to fishing gear or when the DST is used as a stand alone logger. The DSTs and Starmon mini series can be programmed with a sampling interval of one second, and up to several huors. The SeaStar software retrieves the accumuated data nad rocesses it in graphs and in tabular form. The software gives numerious possibilities of data presentation, and values can be shown as m/bar (depth/pressure) and celsius/fahrenheit.
