| Starmon and DST Temperature Recorders |
|
Submersible temperature recorders designed for use in oceans, rivers, and lakes, robust environment and high temperatures
Starmon mini has an all plastic housing that is robust and does not corrode in the sea. For more extreme pressure the Starmon mini is available in non-corrosive titanium housing. Battery is replaceable with the use of soldering iron. Long battery life and large memory size.
The DST loggers are available as low cost temperature loggers. Battery is not replaceable.

| DST GPS Fish Positioning System |
|
Sensors: GPS code, temperature and depth Memory size: Total memory size 87164 Battery life: Depending on frequenqy of measurements (approximately up to 3-4 years) Depth: Down to 3000m depth
DST GPS measures temperature, pressure (depth) and listens to a GPS signal from sonar.
Data is stored in a non-volatile internal memory. All recordings are time related, utilising a real time clock inside the recorder.
The cost effective and small size construction of the DST GPS archival tag has been possible by carefully selecting modern micro-miniature electronic components and successful sensor development at Star-Oddi.
The DST GPS fish tag has been equipped with the unique user specified features for optimising the tag's performance when receiving and storing in its memory the fish GPS position.

| Underwater Tagging Equipment (UTE) |
|
The Underwater Tagging Equipment gives the following advantages
-
The UTE is specially designed for tagging deepwater fish that cannot survive changes in pressure and surface temperatures
-
It prevents the need for hauling the fish to the surface for tagging and release
-
Less time is spent in handling the fish, which leads to increased tagging efficiency
-
Fish is tagged in its natural environment, avoiding stress factors as pressure and temperature changes and therefore decreases tagging mortality.
