Fixed logger position
When measuring tilt and compass direction with the DST it is important that the loggers do not roll on the subject being studied. Stainless steel clamps and matching nuts are are used to fasten the logger firmly inside the housing.
The shape of the housing is designed to be fastened/strapped or bolted to underwater equipment and fishing gear. If using DST with a compass heading sensor it is important to place it horizontally with the reference line on the DST facing directly up.
It has four attachment holes at each corner, and two on top, each hole is 4 mm in diameter.
